Important Notes
As diagnostic facilities, the sleep laboratories maintain arms-length relationships with home-care companies providing respiratory equipment. The sleep laboratories do not refer patients to any of these establishments.

Patients select the home-care company of their choice once they have been assessed by an ADP authorized physician and approved for eligibility under the Ministry of Health's Assistive Devices Program.

A triage based system is in place for the purpose of redirecting patients in accordance with the degree and complexity of the sleep or sleep-related disorders investigated to the most appropriate medical specialist(s).
